Here are some explicit instructions on how to modify your Mac-Mgrs list subscription.

Subscribing to Mac-Mgrs

Please take the time to read the list rules that will be sent to you after you subscribe. Also lurk for a while and get a sense for how the list works. Thanks! The request to subscribe to the list goes as follows:

  1. If you want to receive each message when it is sent to the list, send email to mac-mgrs-request@lists.mac-mgrs.org with the word "join" in the body.
  2. If you want to receive a daily digest send email to mac-mgrs-request@lists.mac-mgrs.org with the words "join digest true" in the message body. To switch back to feed, send again with the words "digest false" in the message body.
  3. If you want to unsubscribe from either the digest or feed send email tomac-mgrs-request@lists.mac-mgrs.org with the word "leave" in the message body.
  4. Last, there is a special mode that allows people to suspend delivery from the list while they are away on vacation. To do this send an email to mac-mgrs-request@lists.mac-mgrs.org with the words "holiday true" in the message body. When you return, send it again with the words "holiday false".

Unsubscribing from Mac-Mgrs

Simple: send email tomac-mgrs-request@lists.mac-mgrs.org with the word "leave" in the message body.
